Chew-valley-lake-loop-Heder

Our varied ride programme includes everything from a social ride around Chew Valley lakes on Saturday mornings heading out from Ashton Way Car Park Keynsham (7.00am) with a pit stop at our club house, Keynsham Cricket Club (KCC) for coffee & bacon rolls.

Lap of the lakes
We have two distances the longer being a 26 mile loop or a shorter 15 mile loop aiming to arrive back at the club house together, for a re-fuel and post ride banter.

Over the last 12 months, members of the club have also organized hill session rides, mountain bike rides and Sunday morning rides. These sessions are currently arranged on ad-hoc basis so please check the Club’s Facebook page for further information. See below further information on these rides.

Hill Sessions
Hill sessions in the historic city of Bath generally take place on Tuesday & Thursday evening consisting of anything up to 5 x 1 mile hill efforts; these usually start from Saltford Motor Company at 6pm.

Sunday rides
Longer rides generally happen on Sundays and can range from anywhere between 50 – 80 miles mostly around the gorgeous rolling Mendip hills.

Mountain Bike
We have a number of keen mountain bikers, with rides happening most weeks to include the local trails at Ashton Court & Leigh Woods. Arranged rides a little further afield at Cwmcarn and Afan Trail Centre in South Wales also take place during the year.
